A GRANDMOTHER has appealed for help in tracing a lost camera containing treasured photographs of her new granddaughter.
Fiona Tomlinson of Birmingham lost the camera while visiting the Lindisfarne Gospels exhibition in Durham City, yesterday (Tuesday, September 10).
Mrs Tomlinson said: “It is a small compact digital camera and it is not worth much, but the photographs are very important to me.
“It has photographs of my 11-week-old granddaughter I had not downloaded. There are also photographs of waterfalls in Wales.
“The last I used the camera was to take a photograph from Durham Cathedral of the the viaduct. I realised it was missing after visiting the exhibition and going to the cathedral teashop.”
A search failed to locate the camera, which was in a dark blue fabric case with a shoulder strap.
Anyone who may have found the camera has been asked to contact Mrs Tomlinson on 0121-373-7968.
