THE finishing touches are being put to arrangements for the last major agricultural show of the season.
The Nidderdale Show is one of the country’s leading agricultural events with high quality livestock standing alongside major attractions and trade stands.
Newly appointed Show President John Fort said: “This year’s show is looking to be yet another exceptional show with exciting main ring attractions, music from award winning brass bands and a great number of entries from competitors from all categories.”
Last year torrential rain caused major problems for the organisers who battled through terrible conditions to stage the event.
This year show director Trevor Stoney said the show field is in the best condition it has been in for a number of years and the long term weather forecast is showing settled conditions.
ttractions in the main field include Ye Olde Redtail Falconry Display and the International Miniature Horse display team.
The show is held on Monday September 23 at Pateley Bridge. A new website has been launched this year for the event www.nidderdaleshow.co.uk.
