3:07pm Thursday 19th September 2013 in News
ANOTHER North Yorkshire town is to get its own multi sports club for disabled people over the age of 11.
Following the success of a similar club in Northallerton, Hambleton District Council has secured funding from Sport England’s Sportivate Fund to pilot a scheme in Easingwold.
The club is designed for disabled people of any ability and will include a wide range of activities.
The eight week pilot starts on September 23 and costs £20. There are two sessions: 5pm to 6pm for people over 25 and 6pm to 7pm for people aged 11 to 25. Both sessions will be held at Easingwold Secondary School.
To book a place or for further information regarding the Easingwold or Northallerton clubs, contact Joe.Mckechnie@hambleton.gov.uk or telephone 01609-767261
