Charity raffle raises £1,292 for children's hospital
A NATIONWIDE charity fundraising tour has visited Durham.
The Ask Italian Grand Tour aims to raise £250,000 for the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.
Last week, Ask Italian managing director Steve Holmes visited the chain restaurant’s Durham City venue to accept a cheque for £1,292 towards the total from the local store’s general manager Suzanne Watson.
The money was raised during August by holding a prize raffle.
The national fundraising total has now reached £112,000.
