A RED double-decker London bus is set to run on a new route through North Yorkshire.
The event is usually held at the office on Malpas Road, but on Friday (September 27), the event will be staged at the new Catterick Garrison library.
The bus departs from Malpas Road at 11.30am and the talk, by Linda Turnbull, about the Garrison Voices history project, which gathers memories and documents to document the Army base’s heritage, begins at 12.30pm, and will last one hour.
Passengers will be able to visit project exhibition and a display of vintage vehicles, before catching the bus to arrive back in Northallerton by 3pm.
Tickets for travel, the talk and light refreshments cost £4, and advance booking is essential.
