Festive fair for Ferryhill
A TOWN is making plans to host its annual festive fair.
Ferryhill 2000 Committee and Ferryhill Town Council will hold a Christmas fair on Friday, November 29, from 2pm.
The event will begin at 2pm with children’s fair rides, refreshments and a craft fair at St Luke’s Parish Centre.
A candle-lit procession led by Santa Claus in his sleigh and involving children from local primary schools will leave St Luke’s Church, at 4pm, and head to Ferryhill Town Hall gardens for carol singing at 4.15pm.
The Christmas lights switch-on will be at 4.30pm. Santa will be in his grotto at the E-Café, from 4.30pm to 6pm, where refreshments and a tombola will be available and Ferryhill Town Band will perform at The Manor House pub that night.
Craft stalls are available for £20 and charity stalls are priced at £10, for details call John Rogerson at Ferryhill Town Hall on 01740-652157.
