Blues night in memory of North-East performer
A BLUES night in memory of singer Maggie Ross will be held at The Quakerhouse, in Darlington, on Thursday (October 17). The charity event will take place from 8pm until 11.30pm with all proceeds going to The Charlie Bear Cancer Appeal fund.
NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH: The next meeting of the Darlington Neighbourhood Watch Association will take place on Thursday October 17. The event will feature speaker Lynn Walton from Age UK who will discuss the Good Friends Scheme. The meeting, which will be held at St Cuthbert’s Church Hall in Darlington, begins at 6.30pm.

CHARITY GIG: Rock Stars Music School, featuring young musicians from the North-East, will perform a charity gig at Sadberge Village Hall, on Saturday, November 9. Tickets, which cost £5 per adult and £3.50 for children, are available by calling 01429 269211. The event begins at 6pm.
