2:40pm Monday 28th October 2013 in News
A NUMBER of cars were vandalised in a spate of incidents thought to involve a group of youths.
Several vehicles parked on Victoria Embankment, in Darlington, had wing mirrors kicked off and one had a metal sign thrown through the window at different times over Friday night (October 25), between 7.30pm and 6am, and on Saturday, October 26, at about 9.15pm.
A group including between six and eight males and five or six females, thought to be between 15 and 16 years of age, some on bikes, were seen in the area at the time.
One male was wearing a blue and grey zip-up hooded top and blue jeans.
Following one of the incidents the group ran off towards South Park.
Anyone who saw the group in the Victoria Road or Victoria Embankment areas at the above times or can provide any relevant information, is asked to contact PC Heinzman at Darlington Police Station via the non-emergency number 101.
