Festive demonstration at annual meeting of Darlington Flower Club

FESTIVE goodies will be on sale at the annual meeting of Darlington Flower Club on Wednesday, November 6.
The event will be held at Hummersknott Academy, in Darlington, from 6.30pm and John Chennell will host a demonstration called ‘In Festive Mood’.
Tickets are £8 and can be bought on the door or in advance by calling 01325-374732.
CABINET MEETS: The next meeting of Darlington Borough Council’s cabinet will take place on Tuesday (November 5) from 5pm in the town hall. The public are welcome to attend.
POLICE MEETINGS: The next Police and Communities Together (Pact) meeting for the Mowden area of Darlington will be held from 6.30pm to 7.30pm on Monday (November 4) at Mowden Junior School, in Conyers Avenue.
CHRISTMAS CRAFTS: A Christmas craft fair will be held at the King’s Church, in Whessoe Road, Darlington, from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, November 9. A number of stalls will be on offer, including decorations, crackers, gifts, craft kits, Christmas cards and jewellery. Entry is £1. MAYOR’S CONCERT: Secondary schools from across Darlington are performing at a concert organised by Darlington mayor, Charles Johnson, on Tuesday, November 12. Durham Music Service will also perform at the event which is being held in the Dolphin Centre’s central hall from 6.30pm. Tickets can be bought on the door for £5, or in advance for £4. Concessions are also £4.
STROKE CLUB: Age UK Darlington will host a session for people who are recovering from a stroke at its headquarters in Bradbury House, Beaumont Street. The event takes place at 10.30am on Monday (November 4). Entry is £2.
