Heritage railway invites people to back its plans for expansion
1:33pm Sunday 3rd November 2013 in News
A HERITAGE railway is inviting people to become sponsors and get involved in its current plans for development.
Wensleydale Railway says passenger numbers are increasing and it is operating more trains along the North Yorkshire route.
It is also on the verge of its first extension and new station since 2004. But it needs additional resources to help it towards its current goals.
So now people are invited to sponsor the railway and become more involved in the railway.
People can donate as much, or as little, as they wish. Those who donate up to £10 per month will be entitled to an annual afternoon tea on the train and will be listed as an official sponsor.
Those donating over £20 per month will be entitled to also reserve a table for four people on a special sponsors’ train and receive a Gold Travel Pass, enabling free travel for themselves and a guest on ten scheduled round trips a year.
