A MUSIC festival has launched specially priced tickets to attract more youngsters to next year's event.
The first Bedale music festival was held last year attracting 80 performers, hundreds of visitors and ploughing £45,000 into the local economy.
Next year the event is being held from Friday, May 30 to Sunday, June 1 with many local and national performers.
Earlybird tickets are £50 with a £5 discount for local people. For young people aged 11 to 21 tickets for the weekend are £20. Family tickets are £125. Children from five to 11 are free if camping fees are paid.
Spokesman John Knighton said: "Last year we had a great festival and next year is going to be bigger and better, with more concerts and great music across the entire weekend.
"We want locals to be part of our festival and this ticket offer is our way of inviting them to join our party.
“We have some great acts coming to Bedale such as The Blues Band, The Men They Couldn’t Hang, Jez Lowe, and Babajack and we want to give locals the opportunity to see and hear some of the UK’s top musicians perform in their own town.”
Tickets are on sale now via the BAMfest website, www.bamfest.co.uk.
