A PRESTIGIOUS marketing firm has signed up to help its community as part of a new initiative.

Award-winning PR and marketing firm Harvey & Hugo is the latest business to join the Darlington Cares initiative.

The project is a partnership of some of the town’s leading employers who have made a commitment to making Darlington a better place.

It taps into the expertise of business leaders and asks them to apply their skills to helping with community and charity projects.

Charlotte Nichols, the entrepreneur behind Harvey & Hugo, said: “As I’m extremely passionate about Darlington and proud to have my business here, it was an honour to be asked to become a member of Darlington Cares.

“I’m proud to be part of such a valuable organisation and look forward to supporting it.”

Harvey & Hugo are the 18th local organisation to sign up to the project. They join companies including Sherwoods, Cummins, Darlington Borough Council and Teesside University.

Darlington Care’s programme manager Katie Blundell said: “The addition of Harvey & Hugo to the membership is testament to the variety of organisations that have chosen to get involved with Cares to make a positive contribution to their local community.”
