A FREE Christmas family fun day will be held at The Durham Centre, the home of Emmanuel Church Durham, on Belmont Industrial Estate, Durham, on Saturday (December 7). There will be arts and crafts, a giant screen video games challenge, a rodeo reindeer, Santa’s Grotto, entertainment from a choir and more. Entry is free and open to all.
CAROL SERVICE: Pittington St John’s Methodist Church will hold a traditional carol service on Sunday (December 8) at 3pm. Carols will be accompanied by Pittington Brass. Tea and mince pies will be served afterwards.
GIFT SALE: Annfield Plain Central Methodist Church, on Railway Street, Annfield Plain, will hold a Christmas gift sale, with stalls, toys, cakes and more, on Saturday (December 7) at 10.30am. Light lunches will be served from 11.30am.
