Staff and students at Chapters Counselling and Training in Newton Aycliffe raised £143 for Breast Cancer Care by taking part in the charity’s Pink Friday event last month
TEAM members at County Durham counselling and training centre were pretty in pink for a worthwhile cause.
Staff and students at Chapters Counselling and Training in Newton Aycliffe raised £143 for Breast Cancer Care by taking part in the charity’s Pink Friday event last month.
For a whole week, the team dressed in pink clothes and tucked into homemade pink cakes.
The event culminated with a coffee morning, which brought together students past and present.
Chapters counsellor Katherine Jones said: “The coffee morning was a lot of fun as well as a huge success, just like the others we have had in the past, and hopefully the others we aim to have in the future for other charities.”
