A COMMEMORATIVE plate marking the formation of the Air Training Corps (ATC) has been presented to a Darlington squadron.
The plate marking the 50th anniversary of the creation of the ATC was bought in 1991 by Jim Taylor after they were made available to the public as collectibles.
The decorative plate was found by his daughter, Margaret Singer, after his death earlier this year who decided to return the item to the ATC for its archive.
The plate was presented to members of 405 Squadron, based at the TA Centre, in Neasham Road, Darlington, by Josh Exley, a family friend of Mr Taylor.
