TIME is running out for cut price tickets for Bedale’s music festival.

Until the end of December local people can get an extra £5 off the price of a weekend ticket.

That is on top of early bird prices which means an adult weekend ticket would be £45, with under 21’s paying £15 for the event, which is being held from May 30 to June 1.

The first festival this year was hailed a huge success ploughing £50,000 into the local economy.

Festival spokesman John Knighton said: “We believe we have one of the best-value festivals around. We are determined to bring the best musicians to Bedale and at the same time keep prices down.

"This year’s festival was our first and next year we will have more concerts - eleven over the three days – and lots of exciting plans for the all the family."
