THE Co-op has handed over £2,000 to help fund a day centre for older people.
The Co-operative Membership Community Fund has given the money to the Dales Care centre in Bedale.
Michelle Sands, from Dales Care, said: “Funding is becoming ever harder to secure, therefore we were delighted to hear that we were successful in securing this grant. The cash has made a huge difference to the project.”
