MORE than 60 stalls and a host of activities are on offer at a Christmas fair on Saturday (December 7). The event, which takes place between 10am and 4pm at Catterick Leisure Centre, is being held to raise money for Scotty’s Little Soldiers, a charity which looks after children of service personnel killed in service.

BABY CINEMA: Parents are invited to bring their babies and toddlers to a screening of Despicable Me 2 at The Forum in Darlington tomorrow (Thursday December 5). The screening takes place from 12.45pm. Tickets are £3 for adults but babies and toddlers go free.

SKA PUNK: Last Rough Cause, Offbeat Offensive and User Friendly will perform at the Skins n Punks ska night, at The Forum, in Darlington, on Friday, December 13. Tickets are £6 and doors open at 7.30pm.

ACOUSTIC NIGHT: An evening of poetry and acoustic music will be held at the Tapas Bar on Bondgate, in Darlington, today (December 5). Special guests include McCormick and Phil Cox and open mic slots are available. The event begins at 8pm.
