The scene of the accident on the A167 between Chilton and Ferryhill
A MAN has died after his car collided with a lorry on a busy North-East road this morning.
The emergency services are in attendance at the scene on the A167, just north of the roundabout with North Chilton Terrace, near Chilton.
The collision happened shortly after 10am and motorists are being advised to avoid the area. Diversions have been put in place.
