FOUR dementia care nurses have received an award thanks to the family of one of their residents.
Sarah Clark, Lisa Mcleavy, Katie Roberts and Lerato Mokake were nominated for the Four Seasons Health Care Rock award by Caroline Chapman.
Her mother Jill McConkey is a resident at Barrington Lodge Care Home, in Bishop Auckland.
Home manager Tracy Daley said: “It means a lot when relatives take the time to nominate staff. It is nice to see them appreciated for all the work they do.”
