A WOMN suffered minor injuries after being knocked down in Darlington.
The woman was not seriously hurt in the incident, in the North Road area, on Sunday (December 8) afternoon.
A spokesman for Darlington police said the incident was initially feared to have been more serious, but it quickly became apparent that the woman was not badly injured.
Paramedics spoke to the woman and traffic was diverted away from the scene of the incident, which happened close to the Morrisons supermarket.
