SOROPTIMIST International of Durham will hold a Christmas fair at Durham Town Hall on Saturday (December 14) from 10am to 1pm. There will be Christmas crafts, jewellery, cakes, refreshments, face painting and a tombola. Entry is free. Proceeds will be split between Skin Cancer Research and Birthing in the Gambia.
CHRISTMAS MARKET: St Aidan’s Church Lads and Church Girls Brigade will hold a Christmas market at St Aidan’s Church Hall, Front Street, Framwellgate Moor, Durham, on Saturday (December 14) from 10am to 12.30pm. There will be various stalls, plus refreshments.
GO KARTING: The Active Life Centre in Coxhoe will hold a Go-Kart Christmas Party on Friday (December 13) from 5.30pm to 8pm. The event is suitable for children aged four to 11. The cost is £15 per child. To book, call 0191-377-1789.
LEISURELY WALK: Durham Ramblers will do a 6.5-mile leisurely walk along the Weardale Way from Sunderland Bridge to Page Bank on Sunday (December 15).
