POLICE are investigating after a white Isuzu Luton-style van was stolen from a hand car wash business in Leadenhall Street, Darlington.

Pressure washers and cash were also stolen when the business was broken into between 5pm on Friday (December 8) and 9am the following day.

Witnesses are asked to call PC Stew Walker, of Darlington police, on 101, or Crimestoppers, on 0800-555-111.

The event took place Sunday night Not Friday, The van was from a local charity Shop trying to help people in the Darlington area to gain Furniture. the van was stored in the Carwash for safety after it was targeted being left on the street.
Anyone with information please inform the police
the charity shop still requires a van to collect and deliver items for people of Darlington and is hopeful for a safe return.
