A PORTABLE floodlight and generator system was stolen from Sedgefield Cricket Club, on Station Road, between 4pm, on Wednesday, December 4 and 1.30pm, on Thursday, December 5.
The equipment, valued at about £3,500 is a 2008 model and has 4x4000 watt lamps and a diesel Lamborghini generator.
Witnesses should call PC John Simpson, of Sedgefield neighbourhood police team, on 101.
PEDESTRIAN HURT: A 78-year-old man is in a critical condition in Darlington Memorial Hospital with a serious head injury after being in collision with a blue Vauxhall Corsa on Greenwell Road, Newton Aycliffe, at about noon, on Saturday, December 7. Witnesses are asked to call the road policing unit on 101.
