Durham County Council is being asked to grant planning permission for a dwelling and detached garage to be built at Southburn Livery and Stud, Chester Moor, near Chester-le-Street.
Fellowship gathers: Ouston Christian Fellowship meets at the village’s community centre in Iris Crescent, on Sundays between 9.30am and 12.30pm and from 6pm to 9pm.
Irish dancing: An Irish dancing class for children aged four and over is held on Mondays between 4pm and 5.45pm at the Chester-le-Street Community Centre, Newcastle Bank. It costs £4 per session. For details call 07731 937739.
