WARD SURGERY: The councillors for the Lascelles ward in Darlington will hold a ward surgery on Saturday, December 14, between noon and 1pm, at Cleveland Bridge Social and Athletic Club.
CYCLE FUN: A weekly bike ride for children and adults will be held at West Park play area on Sunday, December 15, between 10am and noon. Bikes and helmets can be provided, booking is not necessary. The event costs £2.50 per person. Call 01325-254370 for more information.
DANCE CLASS: A beginners class for ballroom and Latin dancing will be held at Middleton St George Community Centre on Sunday, December 15, between 7.30pm and 8.30pm. Entry is £5. A partner is required. For more details call 07932-312104.
JAZZ CLUB: Live music from Darlington Jazz Club will be performed at The Forum, in Borough Road, Darlington, on Sunday, December 15. Doors open at 5.30pm, music from 6pm. Tickets are £3, £1 concessions. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
