Planning permission for new house in Pelton Fell
DURHAM County Council has granted planning permission for the building of one detached home on land adjacent to 1 Station Lane, Pelton Fell, near Chester-le-Street.
SOCIAL DANCE: A social dance will be held at the Indoor Bowling Club in Pity Me, near Durham City, from 8pm to 11pm on Saturday, December 28. Admission is £2.50 at the door. For further information contact Michael Eglinton on 0191-386 6921.
ROCK AND ROLL: A rock and roll evening featuring Mike Byrne and the Sun Rockers will be held at the Easington Social Welfare Centre in Seaside Lane Back, Easington Colliery, from 6.45pm to late on Saturday December 21. Admission is £5 on the door.
