MEMBERS of a popular science club are hoping for clear skies when they go stargazing for a planet.
The 30-strong group from Bishop Barrington School, in Bishop Auckland, are heading to Wynyard, near Stockton, in the search for Jupiter.
Year 11 GCSE science pupils will also be stargazing when they visit Kielder Forest in January.
The school has been selected as one of 25 in the country to receive £3,000 worth of scientific Lego, which the students will use to study engineering by creating robots.
It is expected to be delivered to the school in the New Year.
