FIRST aid courses aimed at families with youngsters are to take place at Bishop Auckland’s One Point children’s centres.
Durham County Council is running the free courses to teach how to react in an emergency situation and how to deal with cuts, scalds and choking.
The sessions will run at Woodhouse Close Children’s Centre on Friday, January 10 between 9.30am and 11.30am.
They are also being held at St Helen Auckland Children’s Centre on Friday, January 17 between 12.45pm and 2.45pm.
They are aimed at people with children who are aged five-years or under.
A crèche is available at £1 per child and transport is available at £1 per adult.
Details on either of the sessions can be obtained by contacting Woodhouse Close Children’s Centre on 03000-266390.
