CRIMINALS who targeted vehicles during the festive period are being sought by police.

Darlington Police are appealing for information after a Landrover was stolen from Piercebridge on Monday, December 30.

The green Defender 90 vehicle – registration number X163 NWW – was taken from the Piercebridge Organic Farm Shop and Café between 6.30pm and 10.30pm.

Anyone who may have seen the vehicle following the theft or witnessed any vehicles parked suspiciously in the area at around the time of the incident is asked to contact the police.

They would also like to hear from anyone with information relating to a Mercedes that was broken into while parked on a driveway at Ravensdale Walk in Darlington between Tuesday, December 17 and Wednesday, December 18.
