Darlington residents can recycle their Christmas tree from a range of locations across the borough between January 6 and 10.
Darlington Council will collect the trees from sites including B&Q on Whessoe Road, the Bedford Street entrance of South Park, Hurworth Grange Community Centre and Town Farm Field, Sadberge, among others.

STOLEN MOTORBIKE: Police are appealing for information about the theft of a blue and white Yamaha DT 125 motorbike from the rear yard of an Eastmount Road property.
It happened between 1.30am and 2.15am on December 31.
The motorbike has white panels with the number eight printed on them and ‘GT’ lettering on the main frame.
Anyone with information should contact the police on 101.
RAFFLE ITEMS: The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) is appealing for donations of raffle prizes.
