Free talk in Hamsterley

A MULTI media presentation on the theme of Creation will be given at Hamsterley Methodist Chapel and Churches Together Centre, in Hamsterley village, near Bishop Auckland, on Monday, January 6, from 7pm to around 9pm.

Admission  is free. Hamsterley residents Michael Thorne, who is a scientist, and Susan Thorne, a student of theology and a Methodist preacher, will share their views followed by an open discussion.

METHODIST SERVICE: Bishop Auckland Methodist Circuit will meet at Bishop Auckland Methodist Church, Cockton Hill Road, Bishop Auckland, on Sunday, January 5, at 10.30am. The circuit covenant service will be led by Rev Keith Phipps, the preacher will be Rev Dr Andrew Lunn, of Durham.
