A WOMAN has renewed her plea for help to trace a much-loved dog following a potential sighting.
Blue, a collie-greyhound cross, is thought to have escaped from her home in Ullswater Close, Spennymoor, after being frightened by fireworks on November 5.
Her owner, Natalie Raisbeck, is desperate to be reunited with Blue and offered a reward to anyone who can help trace her.
Unfortunately Blue remains missing, but a recent possible sighting in the town has given Ms Raisbeck fresh hope.
Ms Raisbeck urged anyone who thinks they may have seen Blue to contact her immediately, adding: "Blue is a much-loved family dog who we have had for many years.”
Blue is about 11 years old and is a blue-grey colour with a white chest and a mark on the right side of her neck where she was attacked by another dog.
Anyone who can help is asked to call 07541-741629.
