The Advertiser Series: Last year's Durham Dash Last year's Durham Dash

A MASS run through Durham’s historic city centre will return this summer.

The Durham Dash 2014 will see hundreds of children from primary schools across Durham City and Chester-le-Street take part in athletics events including a 600m race through the city centre.

Organised by the Durham City and Chester-le-Street School Sport Partnership, it is aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles.

The Dash was first held in 2012. Last year, around 500 children from 26 schools took part.

This year’s will include 600 boys and girls and take place on Wednesday, June 4, from 5pm.

Organisers are appealing for support from businesses and others. For more information, visit durhamdash.co.uk
