Lindisfarne exhibition opens in Bishop Auckland
LINDISFARNE EXHIBITION: An exhibition of photographs and writings made last year by Richard W Hardwick and Paul Alexander Knox as they retraced the route taken by the Lindisfarne Gospels has opened at Bishop Auckland Town Hall and will run until Saturday, February 1. Entry is free and the hall is open 10am to 4pm daily.

FOLK CLUB: The Halley sisters, a celebrated folk, country, rock and blues band, will headline Sedgefield Folk Club's next gathering at Sedgefield Cricket Club, in Station Road, Sedgefield, County Durham, at 7.45pm on Friday, January 17.
