Gentle exercise class launched in Trimdon Grange

A GENTLE 16-week exercise class will take place at Trimdon Grange Community Centre from 11.15am to 12.15pm on Monday mornings. Age Concern is running the course to aid balance and prevent falls and there will be a break in the middle. Participants of all ages can join in and must register by Monday, January 13. POTTERY CLASS: A new pottery and ceramics class will take place at St Cuthbert’s Centre in Crook from 10am to noon every Tuesday from January 14 to the end of March. The session is being run by Jack Drum Arts as part of the Colour Your Life arts of prescription scheme. PARENTING COURSE: Durham County Council is running a family nurturing course for new parents at Woodhouse Close One Point Children’s Centre in Bishop Auckland from 10am to noon on Thursday mornings, starting on January 16.
