A BLIND charity is looking for people to start a new support group.
The Royal National Institute for Blind People (RNIB) wants to hear from people interested in forming a new fundraising committee in the Durham area.
The charity helps people who are blind and partially sighted.
Helen Rogers, from the RNIB, said: “We’re looking for people who are passionate about improving the lives of people with sight loss to join our group in Durham.
“It’s completely up to the group what kind of fundraising events to hold – anything goes, from coffee mornings to fashion shows or sporting events.
“Even if you only have a few hours to spare you can help.”
