DOG CHIPPING: A free dog microchipping session will be held at the pet shop in Park Road, South Moor on Saturday (January 11) from 2pm to 4pm. Dogs must be at least 12 weeks old before they can be chipped.
TRAFFIC LIGHTS: Three-way traffic lights will be installed at Browns Buildings in Front Street, Dipton on January 20 while gas supply installation work takes place. Work is expected to last seven days.
COUNTRY WALK: Voluntary countryside ranger Steve Shippen will lead a 10-mile guided walk around the Dipton area on Saturday, February 1. The walk, which costs £4 and is expected to take around five hours, leaves the car park next to Collierley School at 10am.
