POTATO DAY: Durham Organic Gardeners’ Association will hold a potato day at Bowburn Community Centre, Durham Road, Bowburn, on Saturday, February 1, from 10am to 1pm. There will be 20 varieties of seed potatoes plus onion and shallot sets. There will be advice on organic gardening and home composting. Refreshments will be served. Admission is free.
