NEWTON Aycliffe Friends of Senior Citizens is bringing back its popular bingo club at 7pm on Monday and Friday nights at Neville Community Centre on Neville Parade. The charity is also holding new age kurling sessions at 2pm on Tuesday and 1pm on Thursday at the same venue. Each session lasts for two hours, including a tea break, and costs £2. POLICE APPEAL: A red and white, adult, male suspension bike and a spare wheel have been stolen from a property at Aysgarth Close in Newton Aycliffe between 4pm and 6.45pm on Tuesday, January 14. Anyone with information should contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800-555-111.
MUSICAL FUN: A free “Music Bugs” multi-sensory play session for youngsters under five will take place at Trimdon Grange Community Centre on Kielder Drive from 10.30am to 11.30am on Saturday, January 25. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
