STOLEN BIKE Lee Daniel Paylor – of Kempton Court, Darlington – pleaded guilty to handling a stolen mountain bike today (Thursday January 16). The 19-year-old, who was caught riding the bike by its proper owner, was ordered to do 40 hours unpaid work and pay costs of £40 and a victim surcharge of £60 when he appeared before Darlington Magistrates’ Court.
BREACHED ORDER Darlington man Craig Lee Walton, of Olympic Street, failed to comply with a community order imposed after he stole almost £800 from his brother. The 34-year-old, who said he had suffered a marriage breakdown, failed to complete 40 hours of unpaid work. District Judge Kristina Harrison today handed him a fresh community order requiring him to do the 40 hours unpaid work when he appeared before Darlington Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday January 16).
