Good question, I watched a programme on the box the other day and the cameras were in the CCTV control room, all the operators were watching their screens fastidiously and they followed this sh*t who was a regular shoplifter, he was marched out of town sharpish by plod and security staff. When the cameras departed they probably put their feet up with a cuppa and the latest copy of Viz!!

The report says it was locked.

Might be worth checking the rails again; a few years ago it was possible to pull the verticals apart enough to slide a lock around the end of the horizontal.

Why are we hearing about this 20 days after it has happened?

Mind you my shed was broken into 2 weeks ago tonight, along with 3 other people's in my street, and many bikes and other items were taken, and that hasn't even had a mention yet.
