Try table tennis in Darlington

New members are being invited to try table tennis sessions with qualified coaches at Longfield Academy of Sport in Darlington.

The Table Tennis Academy sessions run on Thursdays from 6pm to 8pm and all ages and abilities are welcome.

Admission is £3 for adults, £2.50 for under 16s.

GIG NIGHT: Rock band Fallen Fate are staging an official release gig at The Forum to celebrate the completion of their second album.

The band will perform songs from their upcoming album Into the Black and will be supported by October Ends and Hellz Belles.

Tickets cost £6 on the door which opens at 7pm.

PACT MEETING: A Police and Communities Together (Pact) meeting for Haughton North residents takes place on Wednesday.

It will be held at the Education Village on Salters Lane South between 6pm and 7pm.

TIME BANDITS: A group of historical re-enactors is visiting Darlington next month as part of the Tees Valley First World War Project.

The Time Bandits will be at The Bridge from 10am to noon, Crown Street Library from 1pm to 4pm and finally at the Dolphin Centre from 4.45pm to 6.45pm.

Visitors will get the chance to handle original objects and listen to stories about life during the First World War.
