The Centre for Local Studies at Crown Street Library will be holding a display about Darlington wool manufacturers Patons and Baldwins during February.
It will include historic photos of the site and staff at the factory on Lingfield Point.
There will also be open days on February 25, 26 and 27 with extra items displayed, from press cuttings, patterns and yarn samples.
RED MONTH: Staff at the Asda store on Whinbush Way will be supporting the British Heart Foundation (BHF) throughout February.
There will be a range of fundraising activities starting on February 7 with a wear it red day.
BHF badges will be on sale and charity collections will be taken each weekend and the fundraising month will culminate with a tombola on February 21.
