DARLINGTON Building Society has launched a mortgage designed to provide much needed funds to a hospital unit.

The Trinity Holistic Centre, at the James Cook University Hospital, in Middlesbrough, will benefit from the building society’s new affinity mortgage product.

For every application which proceeds to completion, the building society will donate £250 to the unit, which supports cancer patients and their carers.”

Based on past experience, the building society estimates that it will donate about £7,000 to the unit.

Heather McLean, business manager at the Trinity Holistic Centre, said, “We are absolutely delighted that Darlington Building Society has chosen The Trinity Holistic Centre as the beneficiaries of the affinity mortgage.

“We were overwhelmed at how enthusiastic and supportive staff have been since announcing the partnership.”
