PACT meetings in Darlington this week

PACT MEETINGS Police and Community Together (PACT) meetings will take place across Darlington next week. The Mowden PACT will take place on Monday February 3 at Mowden Junior School from 6.30pm. The Faverdale and West Park PACT will meet from 6pm on Wednesday February 5 at West Park Academy. The Park West meeting will also take place on Wednesday from 6pm at the Elm Ridge Methodist Church and the Colleges PACT will be hosted at Cockerton library on Thursday February 6 from 2pm.

DIVING BOARD The 5m diving board at Darlington’s Dolphin Centre will be out of use while it is being refurbished. It is hoped that it will reopen within a couple of weeks.

CHARITY GIG North-East band Voodoo will perform in aid of First Stop Darlington on Friday January 31. The gig will take place at The Travellers Rest in Cockerton from 8pm. Tickets are £2.

STORY CLUB The Saturday Story Club, featuring stories and craft sessions for children aged four to seven will take place at the Crown Street Library in Darlington on Saturday February 1. Entrance is free but places are limited. The event runs from 10.30am until 11.30am.

WARD SURGERY Local councillors will be on hand to discuss issues at ward surgeries taking place on Saturday February 1. The Heighington and Coniscliffe ward surgery will take place at High Coniscliffe Village Hall from 10am until 11am and the Haughton North/West Ward surgery will be hosted at Asda between 10am and 11am.
