Coffee morning: A coffee morning will be held at North Road Methodist Church in Durham on Saturday, February 8 between 10am and 1pm. Soup and bacon sandwiches will be served from 11am.
Advice session: Greater Durham Citizens Advice Bureau will hold an outreach advice session in Esh Winning Community, next to the village library, on Tuesday (February 4) between 2 and 3pm. No appointment is needed.
Ramps plan: Durham County Council has granted planning permission for handrails and access ramps to be installed at homes in Durham Gardens, Witton Gilbert.
Rock night: Rock band The Whole Hog will be playing at The Big Jug pub in Claypath, Durham, on Friday February 7 at 9pm. Admission is free.
