A PROLIFIC Darlington offender is back behind bars for a drugs offence and receiving stolen goods.

Kenneth Worley, 39, of High Northgate, was sentenced to 16-weeks in prison for receiving a stolen bike and being in possession of amphetamine with intent to supply.

He was arrested when officers stopped and searched him in the street and found he was carrying the drug.

They later discovered the stolen bike at his address.

Worley, who was jailed for three months in July for attempting to steal a car, was under a suspended prison sentence and community order for previous thefts, mostly from vehicles in Darlington.

This idiot costs society thousands. Why release him ? Why give him suspended sentences whilst he is a prolific offender ? Surely a Magistrate needs to see that nothing they have done so far has been a deterrent to this waste of skin. Send him to the bottom of the sea.
