Seventies rockers Wishbone Ash to perform in Darlington

LIVE MUSIC: Martin Turner's Wishbone Ash will take to the stage at The Forum Music Centre, in Borough Road, Darlington, on Friday, February 7, at 8.45pm. The original line-up achieved success in the early 1970s and are known for their guitar-driven rock music. Tickets are available from the venue priced £13 on 01325-363135.
CYCLE RIDES: Twice weekly cycle rides for people looking to get fit and enjoy the outdoors take place in South Park, Darlington. The rides are held on Sundays and Thursdays, each between 10am and noon. Each ride costs £4, with bikes and helmets available free of charge. Under 16s can take part for free with a paying adult. TOBACCO STOLEN: Police are appealing for witnesses after a large quantity of tobacco was stolen from a vehicle in the Cockerton East area of Darlington on Saturday, February 1. Anyone with information about the theft, or who knows anyone that has come into possession of a large amount of tobacco, is asked to contact the Durham Police non-emergency number 101, quoting reference DJ1400651.
