A POPULAR annual Bishop Auckland arts festival will return next week.
febfest will be held in the McGuinness Gallery in Bishop Auckland Town Hall from Monday, February 10 and will feature numerous artistic events and activities.
There will be a schools exhibition with a theme of Japan: it’s art and culture.
Jane Crawford, festival director from Daisy Arts, said: “I hope that the programme this year has something that’ll entice all ages to get involved. “There’s theatre, music, film and workshops that offer the opportunity for all to come together to have fun and share in the vast creativity of the event.”
febfest was enjoyed by more than 720 people last year drawing and 12 schools and 8 community groups took part in the exhibition. It is expected next week’s event will be more popular than ever.
More details are available in leaflets from Bishop Auckland Town Hall, in the Market Place.
